Sarah Rebecca Warren is a writer, educator, and musician who lives in Denver, Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts degree in flute performance from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Arts degree in English from the University of Oklahoma, and has a Doctorate of Philosophy in English from the University of North Texas.

Sarah's writing has appeared in Oklahoma Today, Gravel, Luna Luna, World Literature Today, among others. Her poems "Anatomy of an Eating Disorder" and "Chimayo Milagros" won first place in the Arcturus Fall 2017 Poetry Contest, adjudicated by Ruben Quesada. Sarah's writing has been supported by the Sewanee Writers' Conference thanks to the estate of Tennessee Williams.

Sarah’s chapbook, Price of Admission, appears in Floodgate Poetry Series Volume 5 (Upper Rubber Boot Books, March 2019). Poems “Deer W***n Makes Grape Dumplings” and “Open Letter to Deer W***n” are included in the anthology #BLOODLORE: A White Stag Anthology of Bloodlines & Myth by White Stag Publishing released in October 2025, and her poem "Chimayό Milagros" is included in the anthology Twenty Years of PoemoftheWeek.com, published in February 2026 with Madville Publishing.

Sarah currently teaches English at Denver South High School and is an Affiliate English Instructor for MSU Denver. She is pursuing a school librarian certification through CU Denver.
